Teaching

My passion for mathematics drives my passion for teaching mathematics. Modern mathematics is a beautiful complex of ideas allowing its users to solve problems and ask questions which could not be otherwise considered.

Below is a selection of teaching materials for various classes I have taught.

These are some slide presentations I assembled when teaching College Algebra in Fall of 2025.  They are designed to allow a smooth presentation of the content in the course workbook.

Exam 1
Exam 2
In Summer of 2023, I ran the prep course available to math graduate students planning to take the qualifying exam in topology.  For this course, I compiled a list of qual-style problems (taken from past quals from various institutions, assorted textbooks, and my own ingenuity).  I also generated two practice exams.
Notes In Fall of 2024, I ran a short crash in basic abstract algebra intended for incoming first year graduate students.  This was a quick review of basic topics and mostly followed a mix of Lang's Algebra and Dummit and Foote's Abstract Algebra.  An appendix contains a treatment of the determinant which does not require knowledge or use of the sign of a permutation.
Worksheet This is an exercise I designed for an introductory real analysis course for which I was a TA.  The students had just learned about various properties of sequences (bounded, convergent, etc.).  This was designed to familiarize the students with these concepts and prompt them to generate interesting examples.
